We would like to offer the opportunity to financially support Lesmahagow Male Voice Choir.

We are committed to the continuation of a strong and meaningful choral organisation for the men of Lesmahagow and district. While we have a wide range of members with a fifth of the Choir under 25 years of age, we are determined to attract more young men to our ranks; to this end we are developing strong links with the local High School.

We also provide a useful means of fundraising to other local organisations by performing at their functions without charging any fee, although such organisations sometimes offer to make a donation to our expenses.

We are an amateur, non-profit group with no links to any other organisation, so our major expense items need to be met from members' subscriptions, our own concert and fund-raising social events.

Our major costs are hall rental – for rehearsals and our own concert, music – obtaining copies for one piece can be as high as £80; and uniforms. We make no stipend or other payment to any member or officer of the Choir.
